Prose is clean, story is good.
The authour really knows how to make one word do the work of twenty. I've read longer books that do not pack as much punch. The way the devil is beat is simply awe-inspiring, even on the second time round (this being a re-read).
Being a re-read I'm also impressed at how cleanly the time jumps are made. And the ending is exactly perfect.
