STUNNING. The queer history was so important and tangible, making me tear up on more than one occasion. The love story and the journey to self acceptance was gorgeous, as was the queer determination to carve paths to create the lives they wanted. I loved so much about this book that I can’t possibly remember it all for a review. I think I highlighted and bookmarked half the book. Perfect, no notes.
