Come, Tell Me How You Live by Agatha Christie

4.0

Christie's personality really shines through in this memoir about the time she spent with her Husband on an archaeological dig in Syria. It is so witty and charming. I had a smile on my face throughout. There are parts that, seen through 21 century eyes are mildly cringe inducing. The different ethnic groups that they encounter are painted with a very broad and paternalistic brush. Christie is a product of her times, so if you can accept that fact and enjoy the book for what it is, I highly recommend it.
