Gabe, the male chef lead, has been working cam shows since needing an income stream to pay for cooking school. Now an experienced head chef, he continues to do it for fun. But, when he’s fired because his boss is unreasonable, he decides to make it work for him over Christmas.
Bella, the female lead, has had a crush on her older brother’s older mentor/best friend for years before it was appropriate. Wishing she could get over this crush, she looks for a distraction and is shocked to find Gabe’s face on an ad for a cam show website. Immediately signing up, she’s blown away by what she sees, and determined to approach him in person.
Once they realise their feelings are reciprocated and longterm, Gabe and Bella just have to work out how they’re going to convince her brother this is a good thing…
This short story is dual POV, well written, and a sweet and steamy, older brother’s older best friend, contemporary Christmas, age gap romance. I enjoyed Gabe’s ethics, and his consideration of those around him, both regarding his feelings for Bella and in his career. I enjoyed Bella’s enthusiasm and her willingness to take a risk. I enjoyed their fidelity to each other, and their steamy interludes.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
