This one felt like it took me FOREVER to read, and compared to the other books in the series, it basically did. Idk man I was just NOT vibing with Ava or Eli. Also the only other Rina Kent series I’ve read was the trilogy about Jeremy and Annika’s parents Adrian and Lia and tell me why it’s essentially the SAME STORY??? Like I get it babe you want all your characters to be mentally unstable it’s part of the schtick BUT you have an entire DSM5 At your fingertips oh and google, you DONT need to reuse plot points like psychosis and fugue states and forgetting one’s life.
ALSO when her memories did come back and she learned the “truth” of how she got married to Eli, idk man I wouldn’t have moved on so easily. The whole condition that Ava had in this book and the fact that she NEVER took care of it and her parents were just like yeah let her live it up we don’t want to control her and then Eli was like no she needs to be handled correctly like all of the handling of Ava left a bad taste in my mouth — and you’re telling me in the year of our lord 2025 there’s no treatment for psychosis that would have worked for her had she tried it sooner??
Ugh this was not one to end a series on Rina
