Everything For You by Chloe Liese
3.0
Everything for You felt like Ted Lasso fanfiction and I am not complaining. Ever since finishing the show, I have needed a book like it to take the edge off the show being over. Somehow I stumbled across one organically.
When looking at The Bergman Brothers series and how readers typically respond to the books, this one seems to be a favorite. I'm not sure why, but I didn't really connect to the book. I got a bit bored and didn't love it as much as the others in the series. I was really looking forward to Oliver and Viggo's books so it was a disappointment to me that I didn't end up liking Oliver's book.
There were so many factors that typically mark a book as a good one for me: there was hate to love, grumpy/sunshine, a golden retriever/black cat, LGBT representation, only one bed, forced proximity, anxiety representation, and pranks and hijinks. I can't really pinpoint what about this book made me not like it as much, I think it just didn't have as much forward momentum as the others in the series did.
