The 100-Year Life: Living and Working in an Age of Longevity by Lynda Gratton, Andrew Scott

1.0

Deeply depressing. I can’t help thinking that “crafting a portfolio” is code for “participating in the gig economy” and that “reputation and curation” is the worst of branding yourself in order to sell your labour. And then the whole damn thing is about having to keep selling until you die! Surely there’s more to life than entrepreneurship. If there has ever been an argument for subsistence farming, it’s this book.
