It’s written well enough and just interesting enough to make you keep reading.
BUT!
These mafia romances are all starting to sound the same.
Don’t hold my thought against this book though! I think it’s still worth the read especially if you’ve read her other series (The Dark Syndicate). You might recognize a few characters!
