I wanted to like this book but I just couldn't really. It seems like it was intended to be an homage to And Then There Were None, but it often felt like a direct rip-off of it. The characters were very one dimensional which took away from any tension that could have built had they been relatable/ had more back story. Also, and presumably not an issue in the original, but the English translation was quite clunky with far too much over-explanation.
