I enjoyed this more than I thought I would, as I have a hit-or-miss record with YA. But overall the writing was really great, the characters felt real, and I enjoyed it!
Where it lost a bit for me was that it started to drag towards the end. I didn’t feel like we got enough character development from Andie, and the stuff with her dad bothered me. I get that he was grieving, but I just don’t think his actions were justified.
I also found it funny how Andie seemed to have all the answers at 18 or 19 or whatever. To be giving advice to teachers about relationships when she’s only ever been with one guywho is a major asshole and cheated on her was pretty laughable.
