Bel Canto by Ann Patchett
4.0
Absolutely beautiful.
Ann Patchett gets an A for creating an original and character-driven story. I loved the theme of music that carried throughout, and how the gift of music can express humanity and bring people together like nothing else in this world. A fascinating book that kept my interest the whole way through.
My only criticism would be that I wish the epilogue would have met up with more characters that I had come to love and connect with. I would have loved to know how they were doing and what had changed for them since the four months they were held hostage.
