Okay. I'm obsessed. I love this series and I love these characters. I love that the mystery of Gareth's death seems much deeper than we initially thought. I love that Gareth's POVs give us so much insight into the academy and certain characters from his perspective (because its so different to what Elise experiences herself) and I love the separate story we get of Gareth's time in Aurora Academy - his juggling the gangs and trying not to get caught, his desperatation to come up with money, the blackmailing and everything else, it shows us how high the stakes are and makes it seem like anyone could be the suspect.

As for Aurora Academy itself, there are so many secrets and whether these secrets and weird happenings are going to end up being connected to Gareth's death or not, I love that we get this in the story. The cultish vibe it gives, the killbaze (drug) aspect of it. It just makes the world so different to what we experience in Zodiac Academy. I love the boys! Ryder is deeply traumatized and I am so excited to see his character growth. I love the mystery surrounding Gabriel's past and I just adore Leon. I am still weary of Dante though, because there is something that doesn't sit right when it comes to him, Cindy Lou and Gareth.

I really love that Elise comes off mature - this is something I was afraid of but she definitely seems consistent. I also really love the way the relationship is developing between certain characters, especially with how open-minded Dante and Leon are with each other and Elise! The plot twists kept twisting and I honestly did not see that ending coming! I loved the introduction of a new villain and I think that book 3 is going to be extremely stressful and absolutely action packed!
