This book made me cry. I was teary for the last I don't know how many pages, and I'm still kind of wet-eyed as I write this. Bittersweet tears, maybe is the best way to describe them?
All kinds of emotions emerged while reading: from outrage, tension as I was sitting on the edge of my seat, happiness while cheering on the victory, fear praying what I thought was coming wasn't, and so much more.
I probably should have waited to write this review, as I'm still processing, but I just had to share how much I adore this book.
This is truly the best book I have read in a really, really, long time. Absolutely amazing. If I didn't have a job, this would have been a read-in-one-day book.
As many stars as I can possibly give. Five doesn't seem nearly enough.
