This was such a cute, quick read. I really enjoyed the main character and her development throughout. It was an easy read, didn’t cause any anxiety, and was fun to get through. I really enjoyed that it addressed serious topics with a level of maturity, but full self awareness by the main character by the end of the novel that perhaps these serious topics aren’t as simple as she once thought, and that has nothing to do with her age.

I will say, I did figure out the “twist” pretty quickly, but that isn’t a bad thing. I read it as more of a comment on the main character’s tunnel vision at the time, rather than a story device.

Overall, this one was happy good.
