Decent translation, but certainly not the best. I was a little disappointed in the vague, fairly unhelpful endnotes. Kind of a disappointment considering the penguin version is probably the most popular. This version is also missing a good portion of the Skaldskaparmal and Hattatal. More "enjoyable" to a casual reader that way, but certainly incomplete. 2/5
