Sinister, Seductive, and Utterly Addictive

Elliott Rose delivers another darkly compelling story that pulls you deep into the twisted underbelly of the Anguis. If you love morally grey characters, intense power struggles, and sizzling tension, this book will have you hooked from the start.

At the heart of it is Poe, a heroine who refuses to break despite being forced into a dangerous world where trust is a luxury she can’t afford.
Then there are her three captors—Angel, the brooding, soft-spoken protector; Grey, the unhinged, possessive mastermind with a filthy mouth; and Hawke, the one with a rigid sense of justice who thrives in control.
These four together are the perfect mix for the perfect “why-choose” dark romance. Angel especially has my heart. I loved his character and I wish I could have more of him 🤍

The plot is gripping, laced with secrets and unexpected turns, but I did find some moments a bit tricky to follow, which slightly took away from the experience. That said, the tension never lets up, and the push-and-pull between Poe and her captors keeps you on edge the entire time.

And the spice…my god, the spice in this book was PERFECT. Not joking, it was majestic and I love every single letter of it. My personal fave was Hawke, but because I love men who want to be in control 👀

Before diving in, be sure to read the trigger warnings.
This book explores dark themes, and while that makes for an intense and thrilling read, it won’t be for everyone. Also, Noire Moon, the prequel novella, provides helpful backstory on the key players and adds depth to the main storyline. So I recommend reading that one first, especially because it’s an incredible book!

Overall, this is a dark, steamy, and intricately layered story that will keep you hooked.
If you enjoy high-stakes power plays, dangerous attraction, and an FMC who refuses to be a pawn, this one is definitely worth the read.
