Yea this was a HUGE no for me. The premise of this sounded amazing, one family's life is turned upside down when they get the devastating news that the son they have been raising for the past two years isn't their son because he was switched at birth, yet the execution fell flat. This would have worked better as just a court room drama with the two families involved trying to figure out what happened at the hospital, but instead we get the court room drama with a mix of unnecessary chaos caused by one of the fathers, which took so much away from the real issue of the story which is how the two families are supposed to cope with knowing they might have to give up the child they raised as their own. I didn't like how this book ended and how everything just felt so convenient at the end. I didn't care for some of the characters especially one of the mothers because she just felt like the most hypocritical character I have ever read. People have seemed to really like this one, but unfortunately it didn't work for me.
