idk why this took me so damn long, but I get it now.
This was my first Kennedy Ryan, and before I even finished the book I preordered her new release and downloaded another on KU. while this wasn't my perfect book (hence the four stars), I can tell that this author will be for me. I tend to stray away from harder hitting romances (and sports) so I hadn't ever read one of hers before, but this was so well done that I feel so impressed. I can see why she is so beloved.
I will say I did want more from that ending, maybe even another 20-30 pages since it definitely kinda cut off a bit, but it didn't really take away from my enjoyment
