Faith Bass Darling's Last Garage Sale by Lynda Rutledge

5.0

I almost didn't purchase this book because some of the reviews were so harsh. I'm so glad I tried it anyway. Yes, it is somewhat predictable, but as a reader I am not about the destination, I enjoy the getting there, and for me, this trip was worth it. It does hop back and forth, but I enjoyed that aspect, and unlike other books that have attempted the same, this wasn't difficult to follow. I found the unique perspective of not only the title character, but several others, quite intriguing and they drew me in to caring about them and their multiple plights. It was a quick weekend read that I not only didn't regret, but I enjoyed immensely.
