I feel like the story is being told to you instead of being able to experience it. It was like being kept at arms length from the emotion the whole time. I enjoyed the plot and most of the characters (though I kept confusing/forgetting some of the more minor side characters). However, because of the writing style, I just couldn't fully get into it.
