The Sandman by Lars Kepler

4.0

The Sandman is a book that feels so much like a mystery-thriller movie that you can basically visualize it as a movie as the story unfurls. Lars Kepler does a great job of juggling multiple plot lines and escalating the stakes as The Sandman rampages on. The book does not have any super surprising left field twists but it does not really need them either. Everything is working in harmony up until the last quarter of the book when it turns into a pure adrenaline shot in the thigh. Great book to keep you awake on a long car ride.
