Did not finish book. Stopped at 35%.

As seems to be my issue with most paranormal academy why-choose books (unfortunately ☹️) I couldn’t get into some of the language that was used. The pop culture references were a tad bit annoying, but I quickly got over them, but some of the way that the internal dialogue just rubbed me the wrong way and I just kept fixating on it. The fmc was ok. The guys were meh, but I’m sure they get better as the series goes on, but I just wasn’t feeling it. Unfortunately this is added to the pnr why-choose dnf pile.
