Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut
2.0
Well...it's truly obvious that Vonnegut is super-smart and savvy regarding human nature, our broken planet, and our broken society, but his constant pessimism and REMINDERS of our broken world through his cynicism, sarcasm and satire were fairly draining to me as a reader. Don't go into it expecting to laugh out loud in a hearty sort of way, but more in a wry, dry, helpless sort of way.
And don't EVER expect Vonnegut to leave you feeling warm and fuzzy all over...And so on.
