Very clever book written from the point of the women involved in the Troyan war and the impact on women, who although not causing the war or devastation, have to deal with the consequences. I especially liked the letters from Penelope to Odysseus. Not sure that there needed to be so many chaacters however, I think some got a bit lost as we only had a few pages about them - it might have been better to leave them out or reduce other character's pages.
