This was such a great cosmere book! And reading it between Stormlight 4 and 5 is the PERFECT time.
I saw a comment online about it that said they feel like this is as if BSandy was writing fanfiction for his own IPs and, I mean, I kind of feel it, in a good way.
The implications that it brings up in all of the cosmere connections is wild too. So Sigzil hangs out with Wit? He gets a Dawnshard? Wit's Dawnshard? Or is it the same was one Rysn? Or perhaps they each have a different Dawnshard? And he broke his Windrunner Oath and then swore another Oath????????? Making me nervous for SLA5
As far as the individual story of this one, I really liked it! I think I was definitely more interested in the Cosmere connections and the implications that everything held, but the main story was by no means bad. I really don't have much to say about it though, as it follows your pretty typical BSandy pattern.
