Following Atticus: Forty-Eight High Peaks, One Little Dog, and an Extraordinary Friendship by Tom Ryan

Good book. Not the most captivating of writing especially for someone who is a writer by trade. But I suppose he had a different intent and purpose. Speaking of which how did he survive off making pennies with his newspaper? Plus he bought all that expensive winter gear.

I wish he'd gone more into detail about his first doggie, Maxwell's, life. He deserves to be written more about, too.

I would have liked this a lot more if I had climbed any of these 48 peaks.

Dad recommended this to me.
