This dual POV love story was a fun quick read that pulled on my heartstrings. Burgess is a hockey brute & single dad (co-parent) of a teenage girl who hires Tallulah to be his live in nanny. The age gap brings a new spring in his step as he tries to respect their professional boundary. Tallulah is back in town to finish her Masters in Marine Biology & begrudgingly accepts his job offer while mentally undressing her boss & then scolding herself for doing so.
The chemistry between these two is off the charts but their relationship is not without its ups & downs.
I liked the dynamic between these two & enjoyed the family aspect of this romance. His protective energy would be a red flag in real lifeā¦but we all know those a green flags in Bookboyfriendland.
