Super fast and easy to get invested in, because reading it felt like watching someone watch a train wreck occur.
This book touches on microaggressions and racial inequality in a really interesting way and nuanced way, but delivers it in an extremely digestible format without hitting you over the head with everything. The plot moved fast enough that I didn't have time to get bored. On the other hand, the writing was a little lackluster and I really wished I could skip past a lot of the dialogue, which ultimately led to me not really caring all too much about any of the characters.
Anyway, I think it's best if me and this book went our separate ways, and that those paths never came back together.
