bonibaru 's review for:
Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow
by Gabrielle Zevin
Quality wise, this is probably a five-star book but I spent so much time being actively angry at both of the main characters and then angry about having to unnecessarily grieve a third character (who was the one I liked best out of all of them) in one of those apparently mandatory shocking plot twists that ruined a great story for me, that I cannot in good conscience give it the full five stars. The two main characters are human and flawed, but to the degree of becoming frustrating and unlikeable. Nobody in this book knows how to use their words. A five-star book for me is one I will read again. I will not read this one again because I'm not even really sure I like either of the two leads by the end.
