Make Mine Magic
by Shanna Swendson
This was included free in Audible's new Audible Plus catalogue. Since it was only a little over five hours of listening time, I took a chance and downloaded it.
Claire starts out being a bit naive and well, librarian-ish, for lack of a better term. I loved how she played to her strengths though and used her skills as a librarian to solve her problems and help Declan. The whole cast is both interesting and irritating, depending on the chapter, but that's a good thing, too, since it leaves you wondering who is on what side.
I adored the narrator, Karissa Vacker, as well. She has a soothing and pleasant voice. Her southern accent is a nice addition to Claire's voice, since she's from Texas. I'd love to see a follow-up to this so I can find out what's going on in Claire's life.
