3.0

Since this is for the trilogy I am keeping it 3. I really liked the 1st part - Dune and would recommend it, but not much Dune Messiah or Children of Dune. They are not bad but maybe because I read all three back to back that I didn't care much by the end of it. It went from dystopian, Sci-Fi, adventure to well something all over the place.
It follows the journey of Atreides family to this new desert planet which has something very valuable called 'spice' and how they eventually come to control it.
I won't say it has a lot of plot twists but you never really know where its all going and by the end I became weary of the journey.
