I am putting this one aside for now. I wasn't a fan of the beginning at all. I got about 20% in and decided its not for me or maybe just not right now. Something this level of twisted and dark I really have to be in a certain mindset for. Not a fan of the heroine in any way, if a heroine is a sex worker she has to resonate in some way and honestly she just made me feel gross lol so not sure what the author was trying to do there. Maybe another day I will read it. I do plan on reading more of this author as I love her non dark romance stuff, and do more research on her dark romance to see what books would be better for me.
