I was asked to read this book for one of my english classes and as I began the first chapter, I became worried. The old english text made it very difficult for me to get into the novel but as soon as I began to understand the characters and the mystery became revealed, I was able to thoroughly enjoy the book. It is very interesting to have more than one narrative and perspective on each character and their opinion on the crime at hand. Although it was a longer read and a bit more difficult than some of the more modern mystery novels, I would still consider this book extremely well written and would recommend it to anyone interested in different genres of literature.
