I picked this up at the bookstore because the cover caught my eye and I read the description and was so intrigued as to how it would play out. I actually really like the writing style where it felt like you were reading the main character’s manuscript the whole time. The story line was heart breaking, a father ready to risk his job, marriage, and life to find his missing daughter. I just feel like when I came to the “magical/fantasy” component I was a little lacking. The ending was good though.
