Death, Doom, and Detention by Darynda Jones

3.0

Lorelei spends most of this book whining, and when Jared goes missing at the beginning leaving the reader bereft of the romance to move the story along, it drags quite a lot. I like Lorelei's friends, but her immaturity is exhausting, and the entire book is just a set up for the conclusion rather than being a story of its own. I still love Jones' writing, but this isn't one of her best.
