Coming from Eastern Kentucky, Appalachia roots, this book was so beautifully written. I was worried that jokes would be continually be made about incest, addiction, and all the other stereotypes eastern Kentuckians face. I was so happy to read less about the stereotypes and more about the heart and community. The story itself was incredible as well. So raw and beautiful. I truly truly loved this whole book.
