The Cater Street Hangman by Anne Perry

4.0

I wanted to see if I liked Anne Perry's Thomas and Charlotte Pitt series, so I borrowed the first one to find out. I have a good report! I enjoyed the book, but I thought the ending was too abrupt. I'll probably read some more of her books this summer. I might have found myself a new series. The snobbery of the Ellison family is rather appalling though. It's a little hard for me to understand. I'm not sure of Victorian families of means were really that bad. I hope not.
