This whole book was dramatic, over the top and completely unrealistic. I liked the beginning though because there were some funny moments.

I liked reading the chapters told from Cal’s POV more because even though they were over the top, I preferred that to Stella’s chapters which were annoying because of the indecision and constant contradictions.

I didn’t like Stella. Of course, the fact that she has issues means that she’s instantly forgiven, but she led Cal on, because even though she told him she didn’t do relationships, she knew that he didn’t really hear her. Also, I didn’t understand why she didn’t just cancel on all her friends with benefits.

There were some side characters, but they weren’t shown enough. There was one scene where Cal was supposed to meet Stella’s family, but only the introductions were shown, and the next scene was them driving home.

I don’t know if I’m going to want to read other books by this author as this one really wasn’t for me.
