The book started to drag for me the last 15% but leading up to that I enjoyed it.
It was odd to hear about Ilianna’s past fighting experience, and then seeing her during the events of the book not really make a dent in anyone. She got kidnapped or capture a few too many times for someone who’s been in combat for the last five years.
Also events would just happen but it felt like it didn’t really add to the over all story.
It was an insta love situation but I think it worked here, or at least I didn’t find it annoying like I usually do.
