I'm Glad My Mom Died
by Jennette McCurdy
challenging
dark
emotional
sad
tense
slow-paced
As someone who grew up watching icarly, this was a hard and sad read, but I’m so glad she wrote it. It was a fantastic book, gripping and well written, I finished it in a day.
BUT I would strongly warn against reading this if you have ever had an eating disorder or any inclination of one. It’s almost more of a ‘how to’ than a how to avoid. Could very easily be triggering.

Graphic: Cancer, Child abuse, Eating disorder, Vomit, Death of parent
Moderate: Addiction, Alcoholism, Body shaming, Chronic illness, Drug abuse, Drug use, Fatphobia, Blood, Alcohol
This book could be extremely triggering to those who have had eating disorders. It is borderline a how to for eating disorders so could be dangerous to people prone to that
