I find that I find Nicholas Sparks narrator style so interesting. Most books I read will have one POV per chapter, but when I started reading it, I had to get used to that but I find that I really enjoy it. This wasn't an exception, it really works to hear the work of so many characters. He also shows the other side of relationships reality I am not looking for in my Rom-Coms but already come to expect from him.
Even knowing what was gonna happen (cause spoil alert, I had seen the movie already), I was really invested in the book and learning about the characters and I am always trying to understand how the naming of the book too. Loved when the title made it into he book. No HEA but a great story about forbidden first love, everlasting love and tragedy.
