It took me forever to finally dive into this series (I’d never seen any of the movies or read the books until now) but honestly, the timing felt perfect. The storytelling is very immersive & made me feel like reading when I was a kid, totally lost in another world. One night I looked up & realized I’d been reading for hours in complete darkness (except for the light from my ereader lol)
Yes, some parts were predictable, but I didn’t mind. I’m excited to continue the series & see where the story goes.
