Extremely creepy and beautifully written. A complicated book: it’s violent and grotesque but also poetic and the fact that nature is doing the devouring, it’s weirdly comforting? Or something? I really can’t stop thinking about it and am looking forward to reading the rest of the series. I think the movie will be too disturbing for me tho!
