The Trouble with Tinsel by Keith Giglio, Juliet Giglio

2.0

I didn't hate this book, but it broke an implicit rule of the romance genre. I was less bothered by the fact that very few people in the book were described in any way than I was by the flagrant, unapologetic cheating--even though it was the romantic principals cheating with each other.

It still managed to be entertaining enough for me to keep listening (thank you, Andi Arndt), but the story felt like an underbaked draft. I had zero connection to or investment in the outcome. I listened to the unfolding shenanigans from several emotional removes while I worked on my own book.
