I did research the witch hunt of 1645-1647 in East Anglia, and I think the book did it justice. It really makes you want to inform yourself about it.
And oh boy is it such a hard read. When you know the core is rooted in reality and that so many women died because of misogyny, superstition and false beliefs in „God“… it makes you angry, rightfully so.
It‘s an important read.
