This is a layered, relentless thriller that never lets up. It was surprisingly easy to track how each piece slots into place as the story unfolds with multiple perspectives and overlapping characters. Instead of sharp twists, the tension built through constant little reveals and added layers that kept the pace at full throttle. I never connected deeply with the characters, but the intensity of the plot carried it. Many of the scenarios felt alarmingly plausible, making the story even more unsettling. It’s not a relaxing bedtime read, but a fast, immersive escape that grabs focus and doesn’t let go.
