Secrets, Scandals, and Seductions by C.K. O'Connor

A gorgeous collection of novellas, plenty of solid historical romance stories to enjoy during vacations and spare time!
Each and every novella is magnificent and worth reading, but I’m here to review Linda Rae Sande’s one, The Bride of a Baronet. I love this author: she writes amusing, entertaining books with a touch of angst and this novella was no exception. I was intrigued by the characters and the poignant back story, but I also smiled quite a lot at the characters’ antics (especially the side characters!). Kind, big-hearted Charlotte richly deserved her HEA, even if I thought that Adam was a little bit dense and could have acted better toward her. The side characters were wonderfully crafted and the small town background was perfectly depicted. Definitely worth reading.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
