H.P. Lovecraft's at the Mountains of Madness: The Second Volume by Gou Tanabe
4.0
The best version of this story out there I think - Tanabe's art really makes the most of the story, both as a horror classic and as an Antarctic adventure yarn. I last read this on a teen so I completely missed the peak Lovecraft moment where he goes "well the alien super beings that ruled the earth were intelligent and civilized so they were good, but their brutish and degenerate slaves who actually built everything and rebelled against them, they were the true horror."
It's really all there in the text!
