Omg this book!! Sooooo awesome.
It was gifted to me and I'm so happy it was because I don't know if I would have bought it myself. It was so good though and I'm so grateful for getting to read it. I'm not really sure how to express everything this book made me feel. It awakened female rage as well as feminine power in me. Reading it was like experiencing true sorority with the characters but also with every woman in the world. It was a powerful and enthralling reading experience.
Emilia Hart's writing was so good, the vibes immaculate. It was just the right amount of witchy. The right amount of feminism. The right amount of everything. For the two weeks it took me to finish the book it's been floating in the air around me, somewhere in a corner of my consciousness, for all the time I wasn't reading it. And when I was reading it, it was like being engulfed in a familiar place. A bit dark, sometimes scary, but home. Like I was directly sitting inside Weyward cottage.
