Oliver (This is Our Life Book 3) by FG Adams Rated 5 stars

Wow! Just Wow! I loved this story! Even though this is the third installment of the This is Our Life Series, it is by far the best one! Oliver Bishop was a good character in the last book. He is kind of the comedian of the group. He steps up his game in this book and I just very much like his attitude. I really enjoy the relationship between the three guys. They laugh, tease and joke around then are serious when they need to be. I also think it's a great idea how they name their cars and motorcycles in this series.
Oliver, Keagan and Lukas have been through heck together. They came back after deployment and started Trident Security, which is made up of discharged veterans. They do secret ops for the military among other things. They consider each other brothers in every sense. They have a fun camaraderie that is enjoyable to read. Oliver has been out looking for Fallyn Blackwood and her daughter Harper. He almost feels like she is a ghost. When he gets a lead on a location for her, she is gone by the time he gets there. He has been staring at a picture of them for the past year trying to figure out their story. Keagans wife, Jocelyn, wants Fallyn and Harper to come home. So Oliver keeps searching. Finally a solid lead comes in and when Oliver sees her in the flesh, he is delighted to see how beautiful she is and how strong of a unit Fallyn and Harper have become.

Fallyn struggled in her family life, she always had to protect her sisters. Then she met a guy, Roman Cabricci, who she thought could take her away from her family life. Well he did but not the way she wanted. Turns out he was high in the mafia and once he got her with child he would own her. Fallyn escaped with her child and has been on the run for the last 15 years. He said she could never escape him because he would always find her. Always wary always watchful...she can't let Roman find her or get Harper. Eating breakfast one morning at a local eatery, she meets the most handsome guy she has ever seen. In fact she froze and forgot all as they stared at each other. Then she shook herself and remembered who she was and she absolutely can not be involved with anyone.

Fallyn is a strong woman to overcome first her father, then Roman, and then not lose it over all the years of watching and waiting for someone to find her. She seems kind of beaten down when we first catch up to her but once her and Oliver are around each other we see a spark and a sass come back to her. He is bringing her back to life.

He has scars from his past, she has scars from hers. Can they help heal each other's heart, body and soul?
